Mr. Boven currently is the managing director of Purchase-IT B.V. and is a member of the Industrial Working Group Defence Equipment of the Dutch PDI/CALS platform. Purchase-IT provides branch organisations with hardware and software against very market compatible prices and assists and advices government, healthcare and industrial organisations with regard to contract and service level management, establishment of contract management, benchmarking, procurement, outsourcing, contract audits, model contracts, mediation, European tendering, Euromethod, licensing and selection of software and hardware suppliers and contract negotiations (also on No Cure No Pay basis). He started at Exxon Chemicals, working as a System Analyst and Programmer, then was promoted to System Coordinator Supervisor. He pursued in the system engineering field for a few years at Data General, wherein he began taking on much more influential management roles, such as Software Director at Infotech in 1986. He was deemed the recognizable role of Project Manager and Advisor at the Ministry of Finance in The Netherlands. Boven continued building his profound reputation in the IT advisory industry over the years at a variety of well-known companies, which brought him to his current position. Prior and during all of these roles and experiences, Mr. Boven was able to accumulate a numerous number of educational certifications including an MBA and SPD I and SPD II, to name a few. Boven believes in the continuous element of education and abides by this in his career to date.
