Ziad Ali has acquired 10 years of extensive experience in the banking sector upon receiving his BA degree in Accounting from the Faculty of Business Administration of the University of Helwan. During the years 1999 - 2007 he held highly esteemed positions subsequently at Citibank (Citigroup) such as country corporate liquidity and investment product manager, Relationship Manager for Middle Market and Foreign Subsidiaries which helped to intense his multi-national market experience and wide his connection network, he got the intensive Credit Risk and Financial Analysis certificate from Citigroup EMEA training center (considered one of the top 5 in such field). Moreover he was responsible for a team of subordinates during almost each of the 7 positions he held at the Citibank Group. His enthusiasm and dedication to professionalism in the banking sector becomes evident through the fact that he was elected "employee of the month" in October 2004, occupying the position of branch network manager/cash & operations officer and being responsible for 55 subordinates.
In December 2007 he joined the Mashreqbank as a Senior AVP and unit head of Checks, payments &Cash pool (CPC) which then extended to Banking Operations Unit Head, managing 5 units and 20 subordinates between AVPs, Team Leader & Senior Officers. There he was in charge of managing country centralized cash pool, and banking operations
